Victor Senties, of the Houston Police Department, told KPRC 2 police were called to the scene in the 1000 block of Westheimer Road at 8:45 p.m.

Police said the man was homeless and got upset over the cost of his meal. Police say he became belligerent and employees kicked him out of the restaurant. He returned, police say, and that’s when police say another Burger King customer started filming the violent scene that unfolded.

The man was hit with a Taser and also sprayed with Mace, according to police. No one was arrested, but the Taser and Mace were seized. Police said there was no indication the homeless man was intoxicated.

Senties said there are plans to increase police presence and visibility in this area of Montrose.
