HOUSTON – Mayor Sylvester Turner announced Tuesday the city's vision to revitalize Broadway Street near Hobby Airport.
The 2-mile corridor connects Hobby to Interstate 45. Construction is slated to beginning early this year.
The major thoroughfare is currently undergoing infrastructure updates by the city and Texas Department of Transportation.
The scenic Houston project will fund landscaping, infrastructure enhancements and other amenities needed to dramatically transform its appearance, creating a more visually appealing "Welcome to Houston" for visitors.
