HOUSTON -

A shooting happened near a subway in Clear Lake around 5 p.m.

Investigators said a Brinks security guard was getting ready to leave a shopping center when a man ran up and grabbed the bag of money he had just picked up.

According to investigators, the security guard believed the suspect had a gun, so he opened fire.

That sent employees in a near by business ducking for cover

Houston Police said the suspect was hit during the shooting, but got away.

The suspect was later arrested at LBJ Hospital trying to get treatment for his gunshot wound.
