HOUSTON -

A bride-to-be is facing serious charges days before her big wedding day.

Carolyn Bustinza is charged with felony credit card abuse. She's accused of stealing other people's money to pay for some wedding merchandise.

Harris County Financial Crimes Unit investigators say Bustinza, a Harris County resident, used to work for ABC Financial, a company that handles the collection of membership dues for several gym clubs.

According to court documents, Bustinza was able to obtain a member's credit card number, along with the three digit CCV number and expiration date, while updating the customer's account over the phone. ABC Financial says the company does not ask for the three-digit security code on the back of the card and its employees are trained not to ask for that number.

Bustinza then allegedly shopped online using the stolen credit card number, and bought wedding merchandise at Oriental Trading.com and Etsy.com.

The alleged victim also claims his credit card was used to purchase a charm bracelet from Things Remembered, engraved with the name of one of Bustinza's bridesmaids. Investigators say the alleged victim was able to search for the merchandise shipping address and found it was being sent to Bustinza's apartment in northwest Harris County. He was able to get her name and found Bustinza on Facebook.

Bustinza's Facebook profile picture is of an engagement ring. Her cover photo is a compilation of pictures of a happy couple. The bride to-be didn't have much to say when Local 2 asked her about the allegations.

"I don't know what you're talking about," said Bustinza to Local 2 over the phone.

According to court papers, Bustinza, 27, is getting married on Saturday. She is set to go before a judge next month.
