HOUSTON -

Police say a man with a can of gasoline caused a lockdown at a Fort Bend ISD school. He was eventually taken into custody after an hours-long standoff.

Officers tell us the suspect was angry because a delivery truck was blocking the driveway of his home on McCullum and Fuqua. Police say he poured gasoline on the delivery guys, the delivery truck and himself, then threatened to set everyone on fire.

SWAT was called in and the man was taken into custody.

Nearby Briargate Elementary School at 15817 Blue Ridge Road was put on lockdown as a precaution. The district says the school perimeter doors were locked and students stayed inside as FBISD police officers patrolled the campus.

No one was hurt.
