All clear given at La Centerra shopping center after bomb threat

KATY, Texas – Authorities gave the all clear Thursday at a shopping center in the Cinco Ranch area of Katy after a bomb threat prompted people to be evacuated from several stores.

The bomb threat was reported at 12:24 p.m. at the La Centerra shopping center at the Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Boulevard.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said the evacuation was in place while deputies investigate the threat.

About 2:30 p.m., authorities said they did not find anything.
