Body of missing Spring nurse found

SPRING, Texas – The body of a nurse from Spring who was reported missing earlier this month was found Saturday, according to investigators.

Glenser Soliman was last heard from Feb. 16 when he called St. Luke’s Hospital to check in before his shift as a nursing supervisor. Soliman's sister told KPRC2 last week that he was fine when she last spoke to him, but he never showed up for his shift.

Soliman’s family said they went to his home and found that his metallic gray BMW X5 was gone.

According to investigators, Soliman’s body was found Saturday by a man walking his dog in the Spring area off Hirschfield Road.

Soliman's neighbor, Vicki Cunningham, said she hoped she would see her neighbor, who went by the nickname "Chubbs," again.

"You miss people because you see them every day. You acknowledge them every day."

Investigators said they are investigating Soliman's death as a homicide, but the cause and manner of death are still pending.

Chi St. Lukes Hospital released the following statement:

“We are deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this very difficult time.”
