Houston drivers on Interstate 45 faced a traffic nightmare Saturday morning after a UPS truck overturned and sent hundreds of packages onto the freeway.
The accident happened along the North Freeway near FM 1960 around 7:30 a.m. Saturday. The freeway was shutdown for about 30 minutes while crews worked to clean up the mess.
One lane was opened while the investigation continued.
Houston police have not said how the accident unfolded.
Local 2 reached out to UPS for comment, but have yet to hear back. There were no reports of injuries.
