4 robbery suspects detained after neighborhood search in Spring

SPRING, Texas – Authorities asked residents to remain inside while they searched for a group of people who reportedly robbed a restaurant at gunpoint on Monday, deputies say.

Precinct 4 deputies said three men robbed the Jack in the Box near I-45 and Cypresswood Drive around 5:15 p.m.

The men entered the restaurant and pulled guns, deputies said. They jumped over the counter and tried to breach the safe, but were unsuccessful.

The men took the cash from the registers and left the scene in a red car, according to authorities.

Deputies chased the men to a nearby Spring neighborhood, where they were searching for the accused robbers.

Three men and a woman were taken into custody around 7 p.m.

KPRC will provide updates when they become available.
