HOUSTON – A bicyclist was hit and killed Wednesday night in Galena Park.
Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies say shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday, the victim was riding his bike southbound in the 2000 block of N. Main Street when he failed to yield the right of way to a pickup truck as he entered the lane of traffic. The truck's right front corner struck the bicyclist, who was thrown from the bike.

The pickup came to a controlled stop with the bicycle still engaged in the bumper.
The victim, identified as Isidro Martinez Campos, was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The crash is under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
