FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - Con artists are pretending to be with the district clerk's office and calling residents about jury duty in order to get personal information, officials in Fort Bend County warn.
According to the Fort Bend County District Clerk, the callers are trying to get social security and credit card numbers. They have had four reported cases of this happening.
They also say they never makes calls asking for any personal information. If you get one of these calls, let the police department know.
