HOUSTON – A multi-vehicle accident is caused problems on the North Sam Houston Parkway East near the Eastex Freeway Thursday morning.
Emergency crews closed the eastbound mainlanes lanes of Beltway 8 between Vickery Drive and the Eastex Freeway for the accident involving a passenger vehicle, an overturned box truck and an 18-wheeler. The accident happened around 9:45 a.m.

Drivers were forced off the tollway and onto the feeder road while emergency crews were on scene.
At least one person was injured in the crash.
