LA PORTE, Texas – A Baytown man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a pair of assaults at a La Porte massage parlor, according to police.
The incidents happened Monday and Jan. 23 at a foot massage business in the 9600 block of Spencer Highway.
Investigators said that in Monday’s case, a knife-wielding man walked into the business, forced a woman into a room and threatened her. When a customer entered the parlor, the man fled, they said.
Police released three pictures of the man believed to be responsible.
Police said that Samuel Duran, 38, was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $50,000.
Police said they believe Duran is responsible for both Monday’s incident and the assault reported in January.
