HOUSTON -

Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies are searching for the man who they say held up a bank.

It happened Monday afternoon  at the Comerica Bank on the 8700 block of Highway 6.     

Investigators say the man walked into the bank at 3:08 p.m. and demanded cash. The man never displayed a weapon.

Officials say he received cash and then walked away.

The suspect is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and tan-colored shoes.

Earlier in the day, authorities say the same man is believed to have entered an IBC Bank off the Katy Freeway and Bunker Hill and where he also demanded money. He left the bank after being told to get out.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the bank robber.
