HOUSTON -

Authorities are asking for help as they try to identify a man who was hit and killed in an accident near the Texas Medical Center.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences said the man was the victim of an auto-pedestrian accident on Highway 288 at Old Spanish Trail Street on April 12.

Officials described the victim as a Hispanic man between the ages of 20 and 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 140 pounds. He did not have any tattoos or scars.

Investigators said the man was wearing a black, Gino Quality leather jacket, Wrangler blue jeans and size 7 "Rhino" brown boots.
