HARRIS COUNTY -

At least one arrest has been made following a major marijuana bust in Harris County.

Authorities say following a tip submitted by anonymous users to the iWatchHarrisCounty smartphone app, investigators with the sheriff’s office and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) major drug squad executed a search warrant at a location in an unincorporated part of Harris County.

Officials say there they found nearly 400 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $1.4 million, and 66 pounds of harvested marijuana with a value estimated at $231,000.

The sheriff’s office says at least one arrest has been made in this ongoing investigation.
