HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a Harris County man charged with cruelty to animals following a 2007 incident.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office were dispatched on Dec. 24, 2007 to the 14900 block of Pine Warbler in Harris County, Texas.

There, deputies said a victim reported that Arturo Corona Aguilar, 47, was responsible for striking the victim's small Pomeranian dog in the head with an axe.

Aguilar was seek walking eastbound on the 14900 block of Pine Warbler following the incident, authorities said.

Multiple witnesses saw Aguilar in the area with an axe, and saw the incident as it occurred.

Aguilar is described by HCSO as a Hispanic man who is 5 foot 4 inches tall, weighs around 200 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.

Those with information about Aguilar's whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston. Crime Stoppers said they will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of Aguilar in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
