Man robbed of bank card at Houston ATM, police say

Man approached victim, grabbed him by neck, authorities say

HOUSTON – Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a man in a robbery at an ATM.

The victim was robbed at 6:40 a.m. Oct. 11 at an ATM in the 9700 block of Bellaire Boulevard in Houston.

Authorities said a man approached the victim and grabbed him by the neck as the victim was parked at a drive-thru ATM.

The man took the victim's ATM card out of his hand as the victim drove away. Authorities said the man fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The man is described by authorities as a 30-year-old Hispanic man with a dark complexion who is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 140-150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Crime Stoppers said it will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the charging and/or arrest of the robber.
