Attempted robber walks away empty-handed at Taco Bell

HARRIS COUNTY – The Harris County Sheriff's Office has released surveillance video of an attempted robbery at a local Taco Bell.

The crime happened on November 24, 2013 at fast food restaurant in the 4900 block of North State Highway 6.

A worker told deputies that a man approached the counter at 8:30 p.m. He had his hands in his pockets and made it appear like he had a gun. The attempted robber ordered the worker to surrender the cash from the register. The employee told the man he was unable to open the register drawer. The man left the restaurant with nothing.

Surveillance cameras in the restaurant captured images of the suspect during the course of the crime. He was was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shorts.
