HOUSTON - AT&T says it's ready to hire nearly 300 workers in the greater Houston area.
The company said Wednesday that it will hire more than 270 workers for stores in Bellaire, Conroe, Cypress, Katy, Missouri City, Pasadena, Pearland and Rosenberg.
AT&T says the retail, customer care and network technician positions are part of AT&T's multibillion dollar investment plan called Project Velocity IP. The plan is aimed to expand and enhance the company's wireless and wired networks, as well as focus on the customer experience.
"AT&T continues to expand its customer base in the Houston area and invest in our network to ensure we are providing the high level of service customers have come to expect of the nation's fastest and now most reliable 4G LTE network," said Chris Sambar, Vice President and General Manager, AT&T South Texas. "These jobs are part of our commitment to this level of customer service and to support our growth in the Houston market."
