Astros 2B Altuve selected to MLB All-Star Game

HOUSTON – Astros second baseman Jose Altuve has been selected to his second MLB All-Star Game.

The third-year infielder from Venezuela is having a career season, batting .337 with 26 RBIs and 38 stolen bases in 87 games. He also has 26 doubles, 43 runs and two home runs.

Altuve will be a reserve as Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano earned the starting nod.
