HOUSTON -

Firefighters still haven't figured out what started a fire at a home in south Houston.

The fire broke out at a home on Amos Street last night around 10:45.  When firefighters arrived, they found flames pouring out of the kitchen and back bedroom.

According to reports, firefighters made a fast attack and were able to quickly put out the flames.

No one was in the house at the time of the fire, but firefighters said the entire house suffered smoke damage.
