Firefighters are trying to figure out what started an apartment fire in southwest Houston.

The fire broke out around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Broadmoor Apartments on Beechnut and S. Course Drive.

When firefighters arrived the fire was making its way up on the side of one of the buildings.

Firefighters managed to quickly put it out.

Officials said they had to help a woman get out of her apartment unit. Firefighters said she was afraid she couldn't move fast enough to get out safely.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
