Arrest made in stabbing death of 14-year-old boy

HOUSTON – An arrest has been made in the stabbing death of a 14-year-old boy.

According to court documents, Christopher Bert Taylor, 52, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the death of Joseph Aguirre-Flores.

Taylor was taken into custody on Wednesday without incident. He also provided a statement to investigators and admitted his role in the incident.

Flores was found in the 9800 block of Beechnut near Park Circle Drive Monday with multiple stab wounds, police said. He was pronounced dead the at the scene.

Witnesses told police they heard a scream and saw Flores running before he collapsed in the street. Witnesses saw two dark men leaving on foot down Sam Houston Tollway, police said.


According to police, the teen did not live close to the area where he was stabbed. It is unclear what he was doing there.
