HOUSTON – A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a killing on New Year's Day.
Roderick Odell Williams, 33, has been charged with murder.

Houston police said Williams killed Damon Romel Williams, 35, at Cube's Sports Bar in the 9600 block of Bissonnet on Jan. 1.
Detectives said Damon Williams got into an argument with several men inside the bar during a New Year's Eve celebration.
Four people were kicked out of the bar, but they waited for Damon Williams to leave.
Police said Damon Williams' body was found in the parking lot about 5:50 a.m. He had been shot several times, investigators said.
Detectives said their investigation led them to Roderick Williams, who was arrested on Jan. 10.
