HOUSTON - Police arrested a man Wednesday in connection with the September death of a restaurant owner in Spring.

Police said two men forced their way into the Canvasback Glen Court home of 33-year-old Adrianus Kusuma on the night of Sept. 18. One of the men killed Kusuma and then beat his younger brother.

Investigators said the men then grabbed some cash and fled the scene in a white car.

Police said Wednesday that 28-year-old John Baldwin, of Houston, has been arrested in connection with the case.

Baldwin was charged with capital murder, and was being held in jail without bond. He is scheduled to be in court Thursday.

Kusuma and his brother owned the Sunny Side of the Street restaurant on FM Road 2920, about a half-mile from their home.
