Arrest made after victim carjacked at Kohl's

HOUSTON - After more than a month of living on the run, Conroe police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a violent carjacking and stabbing.

Police and U.S. marshals found Jacob Chavez in north Houston. Police said last month, he stabbed a man with a screwdriver after the man put up a fight during a carjacking. It happened at the Kohl's Department Store on Interstate 45 in Conroe.

Chavez is being held on $75,000 bond in the Montgomery County Jail.
