HOUSTON -

Police were searching for the two armed men that robbed a Southeast Houston restaurant Tuesday night.

Investigators said the robbers wore masks when they jumped an employee outside a Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken and Seafood restaurant. The employee was closing the restaurant on Cullen Boulevard around 11 p.m.

Police said the two masked men shoved the employee and forced their way inside the building.

According to officers, the robbers demanded cash from the registers.

At some point, the masked men pistol-whipped two restaurant employees before fleeing the scene.
