HOUSTON – A man in the Heights area said an intruder tried to rob him in his own garage.
A warning circulating the Heights said the struggle happened in the man's garage on White Oak between Norhill and Michaux at about 12:45 a.m. Friday.
"I heard my neighbor screaming expletives in the driveway which is right off of my bedroom," said Jennifer Nunnally. "I could hear that something was wrong."
Nunnally's neighbor posted a warning for his neighbors. It said he was attacked right after he got out of his car.
"I was like in a dream state. I wasn't really sure what was happening," said Nunnally. "If that was going on or if I was dreaming it. I could tell by his voice that something was not quite right and when I turned on some lights, I think that's when the guy ran off."
The man's warning said the intruder had a gun and tried to rob him.
The warning also suggested that his neighbors have a plan in case they get into trouble.
