Armed man robs woman outside Fort Bend County grocery store

Victim's credit cards used shortly after robbery

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Deputies are looking for a man who threatened a woman with a gun and stole her purse.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says the robbery happened on April 14 at the Aldi Grocery Store on Highway 6, just north of West Belfort Avenue.

A woman told deputies she was inside her vehicle when a man opened the passenger door, showed a handgun and grabbed her purse.

Investigators later found the victim's credit cards were used at a Fuel Depot in Houston shortly after the robbery.

Surveillance video at the Fuel Depot showed the robber's vehicle, which was a 2005-2007 black Ford Escape with damage to the driver's side, just above the rear wheel.
