HOUSTON -

Firefighters are blaming a small stove for an apartment fire in southwest Houston.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday at the Braes Hollow Apartment Complex on South Braeswood Boulevard and Gessner Road.

By the time fire crews arrived, the blaze was already out.

As a precaution, firefighters cut power to the entire unit as they worked to make sure the fire was extinguished and wouldn't cause any further danger.

No one was hurt.
