HOUSTON – A chemical emergency at a southwest Houston apartment complex was cleared on Friday after dozens of people were forced to evacuate the building.
The apartment complex is located on Timmons Lane near Colquitt.

Firefighters were called to the complex at around 6 p.m. Friday.
Police said a woman committed suicide by mixing two chemicals to create deadly fumes.
The building was evacuated while the chemicals were removed from the apartment building.
