Jack Moore, a spokesman for the Space Center Houston said visitors will step into the educational and thrilling action of the virtual world, with real-life interactive games.

"Many of the themes that we have in the Angry Birds exhibit are all kind of based on gravity," said Moore. "You have different activities where you can see what you'd weigh and possibly even look like on other planets."

The exhibit is the first and only Angry Bird space exhibit in the country.

On opening day, Space Center officials said more than 5,000 people visited the Angry Birds exhibit. They said they hope that number continues to grow.

"We opened up our doors, and we saw a flood of folks coming in, and we have seen nothing but smiling faces and kids running and having a great time," said Moore.
