HOUSTON – There is a happy update to a tragic case of animal abuse that surfaced last week.
Bella, a 6-month-old chocolate lab mix, is on her road to recovery.
Last week, the Houston Humane Society found Bella abandoned, lying on a pile of filthy laundry in an east Houston home.
Fast forward to today, and Bella is officially in the custody of the Humane Society.
She is being treated for her mange and her internal parasites.
