Woman wanted in jewelry thefts

HOUSTON -

Several homeowners have fallen victim to a female thief who is after jewelry.

Houston police said Deandra Ware, 21, is the sole suspect in seven cases that have occurred since Oct. 15.

A concerned neighbor took photos of Ware in the doorway of one of the homes that was burglarized. The neighbor also got pictures of her getaway car, a Chevrolet Impala.

KPRC Local 2 found her Facebook profile, which has pictures of a new car, a Chevrolet Impala that matched the photos taken by the neighbor.

Ware has not been arrested, but thousands of dollars worth of the stolen jewelry has been found at a pawn shop.

Anyone with information regarding Ware's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
