A woman was struck and killed on Highway 6 in northwest Harris County Sunday morning.

According to sheriff's deputies a woman was attempting to cross Highway 6 at 2:08 a.m.

The woman was hit by a car traveling southbound in the 4100 block of Highway 6.

The driver stopped and waited for deputies and won't face charges.
