HOUSTON -

A Houston woman has been accused of leaving two young children alone.

Nakita Deberry has been charged with abandoning a child.

According to court records, Deberry left a 2-year-old boy and 1-year-old girl home alone while she went out for a beer, leaving the kids.

Deberry is being held in the Harris County Jail with bond set at $2,000.
