A woman has been accused of dragging her terminally-ill mother through the house by her legs.

Investigators said Nakisha Yvonne Johnson, 35, moved into her mother's home in the 11000 block of Spring Grove Drive in southwest Houston. According to Johnson's mother, who has stage 4 cancer, Johnson moved in to help her out.

In January, court records state the mother confronted Johnson about a computer she claimed her daughter had taken without permission.

Officials said Johnson then turned violent, grabbed a golf club and smashed holes in the wall.

When the mother tried to leave, officials said Johnson grabbed her by her legs and dragged her back through the house.

Johnson has been charged with injury to an elderly person.
