Whole Foods is recalling some wild Alaskan salmon because of the threat of Listeria.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said the recall was announced after a sample of Whole Catch Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon tested positive for the bacteria.
The recalled product was sold in stores in a dozen states, including Texas.
Detailed information about the recalled products is available on the FDA's website.
Listeria can cause a fatal infection in young kids, the frail or elderly, or people with compromised immune systems.
The recall notice says no illnesses have been reported.
