A warm front overnight brought warm, muggy conditions to southeast Texas. Temperatures around 7 a.m. were in the low to mid 70s, which were more than 20 degrees warmer than yesterday morning. The roads were slick after showers last night and overnight. We will see afternoon highs in the mid 70s with overcast skies and possible showers today. A cold front will move through our area tonight. It will arrive first for our northern communities this evening. The Houston area will get the colder weather and possible showers and storms around midnight. The cold front will finally push off the coast Sunday morning. The weather for the Chevron Houston Marathon will be damp, chilly and windy. Temperatures will be in the 40s for much of the day tomorrow with daytime highs briefly hitting 50 in the afternoon. Bundle up, and stay dry!
