Tropical Storm Leslie forms in Atlantic

There is another tropical storm in the Atlantic. Tropical Storm Leslie formed early Thursday afternoon.
At 4 p.m., the system was about 1,060 miles east of the Windward Islands. It had maximum sustained winds of 45 mph and was moving west at 21 mph.
Leslie could become a hurricane this weekend, according to forecasters.
Leslie is the second-earliest formation of the 12th named storm in the Atlantic, according to the National Hurricane Center.
