A driver slammed into another car and ended up in a fist fight with its occupants, investigators said.

Police said just before 2 p.m. Sunday, a driver slammed into another vehicle at the intersection of Cook and Beechnut in southwest Houston.

The otherwise everyday circumstance started to become unusual when officials said the driver left his car and fled on foot.

Later, investigators said the driver came back for his car, but ended up arguing with the occupants of the car he hit.

That's when, officials said, things got out of control. Investigators said the fight between the suspect and the victims got physical.

Officials said the suspect then fled the scene again, this time in his car, officials said.

No one was seriously injured in the accident or the fight.

The suspect has not been arrested.
