A bomb threat was made at the River Oaks Theater in Houston Saturday.
The theater is located 2009 West Gray near Sheperd.
At about 7:30 p.m., the historic theater was abruptly closed. The people inside were told to exit and head across the street. Customers said no one gave them a reason.
One man told KPRC Local 2 he was inside the theater watching "Anna Karenina" when the film stopped.
"The next second... on the street," the man said.
The moviegoer said workers gave everyone inside passes for another movie.
Authorities said they found out there was no bomb around 8:30 p.m. The theater reopened about an hour after the threat was made.
