Teen rushed to hospital after being hit by car

Teen hit by car
HOUSTON -

A teenager was hit by a car in southwest Houston on Wednesday.

Houston police said the accident happened on Westheimer near Augusta about 4:30 p.m.

An employee of a nearby gas station said the teenager appeared to be 14 or 15 years old.

The teen was rushed to a hospital. Police have not said what type of injuries the teen suffered.
