The body of a swimmer who went missing in the San Jacinto River on Monday afternoon has been found.
The victim went missing about 3 p.m. Monday when he was swimming at the Loves Marina and Park in northeast Harris County. A witness told police they lost sight of him and called 911.
Investigators said emergency workers strung five boats together in order to search the bottom of the river. They found the body about 7 p.m. Monday.
Deputies said the victim is in his early 20's. His name has not yet been released.
