HOUSTON -

Houston police hope the public can help them find a man accused of shooting two men in a liquor store robbery in north Houston.

David Leon Hamilton, 26, has been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

Police said on Jan. 14 at 3 p.m., Hamilton walked into the Greens Liquor Store, 17539 Imperial Valley, and waited in line at the register.

When Hamilton got close, he pulled a gun from his hoodie pocket, reached over the counter and shot two people, police said. Hamilton reached into the register drawer and stole cash before he fled the scene, investigators said.

A 55-year-old man and a 62-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Hamilton is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
