Suspect in custody after high school break-in

Electronics stolen from Kashmere High School

HOUSTON -

Police captured a man suspected of breaking into a northeast Houston high school early Wednesday

Investigators said they were alerted by the silent alarm at Kashmere High School on Wileyvale Road around 2 a.m.

The man broke into a classroom, stole electronics and then jumped out the window, police said.

According to investigators, only one suspect was caught on tape, but it is still unclear how many suspects were involved.

Police said the stolen electronics were recovered when the suspect was captured.
