In a new study aimed at determining what the Millennium Generation wants from potential employers, one in three new college grads said access to social media sites was more important to them than salary in a job offer.

The Cisco study, which polled 2,800 college students and young professionals around the world, also reveled that more than 40 percent of "Millennials" would accept less money if provided the opportunity for flexible hours and remote access to work, HotHardware reported.

According to the publication, researchers pointed out that more than 56 percent of those polled globally said that if they were offered a job at a company that banned social media access, they would either reject it, or ignore it.
