A south Houston woman, 71, who was attacked by a pair of pit bulls last week has died.
Two friends of Edna Dyson told KPRC Local 2 that Dyson died Tuesday.
Dyson had gone to a rental property she owns on Swiss Lane in South Houston to tend to the yard on Wednesday. Investigators said the neighbor's dogs slipped through a hole in the fence and attacked Dyson.
She crawled to her car, climbed inside and waited for help. Investigators said she lost consciousness and was in the car for at least two hours before a neighbor found her and called 911.
Both pit bulls were euthanized last week.
