Surveillance cameras captured images of a violent robbery at a Houston area smoke shop.
Police said the robbery happened at a store off East-Hampton just before midnight on January 23.
Garrett McClen said he and another worker were stacking shelves when a man pulled up in a maroon Toyota.
"He came in like a regular. He was flashing his money like he was going to buy something," said McClen.
In the video, the suspect pulled out a gun and jumped over the counter.
"He pointed the gun at me and said, 'Open the register. Start giving me the money now,'" said McClen.
McClen said he and the other employee handed over all the cash in the register.
Police said the gunman then forced the two employees to lie face down on the floor. He also made off with tobacco and a number of weighted scales, detectives said.
McClen hopes the video leads police to the armed robber.
"Get it off the streets. It looked like he was going to shoot," said McClen.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
